Beth DeAngelis

Beth DeAngelis is a well-known researcher, educator, and speaker with expertise in social-emotional intelligence, human potential practices, and well-being. Her teaching approach is person-centered and focuses on individual growth, helping people cope with everyday challenges as well as unimaginable loss. Beth has designed a popular skills-based college course called “Developing Your Emotional Intelligence” which has been shown to improve student well-being. She also conducts customized master classes in organizational and academic settings. A lecturer in the School of Liberal Arts at Siena College, Beth holds a doctorate in education from Northeastern University, a master’s degree in interpersonal communication from the State University of New York at Albany, and certificates in Spiritual Direction, Yoga, Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction, and EQi 2.0 Emotional Intelligence. She is the president of Beth DeAngelis Consulting.
